About Me

I graduated the Arizona School of Massage Therapy (Tempe) in Fall 2004 and have been practicing massage therapy since then.  My massage style is on the more structured side, focusing on areas that need it, and keeping the experience within the comfort zone of the individual.  I attempt to keep the deepest parts of the massage towards a 6 on the pain scale, 7 if your comfortable with it, which should allow you to remain relaxed throughout the session as we work out specific issues.  My movements are slower and methodical allowing you to avoid tensing up as I work, and allowing me to work deeper without causing excess pain during the process.  I have learned many more modalities than are listed on this site, but they are usually incorporated into my massages as needed.

I prefer to educate clients about what is going on in their bodies, what they can do to help themselves, and what I can do during the session.  Almost nothing is ever completely resolved in one session, but we can try our best to ensure you walk out feeling better than you started.  Many issues that bring you in may be caused by chronic activities which you may only just recently be feeling the effects from.  This is the "last straw" concept, meaning you could have an issue now that was originally cause years ago, and your regular activities, or new changes, have finally triggered it into activity.
